ABOUT BEVERLY |
Beverly Cohen has been practicing divorce and family law in Cobb and the surrounding counties since 1992. Although she represents clients in all situations, a significant portion of her practice involves representing victims of domestic abuse in divorce actions. Although the majority of her practice is domestic relations, she has experience with appeals, wills, and probate. She represents clients in Cobb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Paulding, and Forsyth counties. |
After earning a business degree in accounting from Kennesaw College (now Kennesaw State University) in 1985, Beverly earned a Paralegal Certificate in 1985 and a law degree from Atlanta Law School in 1991. While pursuing her education, she also went through her own divorce, raised three children, worked to support her family, and accomplished several other personal goals. |
Beverly is licensed to practice in all trial courts in the State of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. |
Since 1992, Beverly has also taught the popular pre-divorce seminar she created, What You Need to Know Before You File for Divorce™. |
